林寬鋸博士目前為中興大學化學系榮譽特聘教授兼系主任。1993年取得台大化學系博士學位，曾任中興大學奈米科技中心主任，曾榮獲中央研究院傑出論文獎、科技部吳大猷獎、科技部傑出獎、科技部傑出移轉貢獻獎、徐有庠第二屆科技論文獎。至今共發表137篇國際期刊論文、49件國內外專刊，成就卓越。
